The unique characteristic of these synthetic fibers is their multi-functionality. These synthetic Silicate Nano – Fiber has unique properties, such as ultra-low bulk density (12 # / ft3), high surface area (300 m2/g), and high aspect ratio (1:50 to 1:100) and promote thixotropic behavior. They exist as hollow “haystack” structures, leading to low thermal conductivity. The thixotropic nature of the water-based slurries enables innovative sustainable manufacturing. These synthetic fibers have applications to improve product bulk, flexural and compressional strength, as well as brightness & opacity.

Due to the unique functions of these products, they have multiple applications. It also includes applications across several industries including paper & paperboard, paints, plastics, composites and concrete.
